01The problem
A large-scale regional hackathon was managing thousands of team registrations through Google Forms, communicating via mass emails, and publishing problem statements as PDFs. There was no single platform participants could go to — organizers spent more time managing logistics than running the competition.
02What we built
We built a dedicated hackathon portal that becomes the single source of truth for participants. Teams register in minutes, browse problem statements by category, track the event timeline, and view results as they go live. The backend handles concurrent traffic spikes during registration windows without breaking.

04Impact
Organizer communication overhead dropped dramatically — participants had answers before they needed to ask. The portal handled peak registration traffic without downtime. Results that used to take days to communicate were published instantly.
